How many of us make New Year’s resolutions and don’t keep them. The “New Year/New Me” mode just doesn’t stick.
I am one of those who doesn’t believe in making resolutions, but rather setting attainable goals for myself all year long. There are no set “start dates” or “achieve by” dates. I don’t “start on Monday” or on the “first” of whatever month. If I want to set a goal for myself, I decide right then and there and begin right away.
